Bibione sits at the eastern edge of the Veneto coast where the Tagliamento river meets the Adriatic, its beach unusually wide and fine-grained by regional standards. Pinewoods back much of the shore, and a dedicated fenced dog beach at the Bibione Pineda end is one of the better-known such facilities on this coast.
